Overview

Brisk Bodega was an immersive platform celebrating music, art, and New York culture—reintroducing Brisk Iced Tea through world-class experiential storytelling. The project launched as a two-part series: Brisk Bodega x Shady Records, followed by Brisk Wars (Light vs. Dark). Each installment turned physical space into a fully realized world where street culture and fandom collided.

Challenge
Transform a 5,000 sq ft venue into a functioning NYC bodega that felt authentic while integrating Brisk and Shady Records seamlessly. The main room needed to operate as an open gallery for performance and interaction, while a back room became a Shady Records museum—built from memorabilia, murals, and story-driven design details.

Approach
We treated Brisk Bodega as world-building, not a marketing event. The goal was to make the space feel found, not fabricated—grounded in real bodega cues like signage, typography, lighting, and texture, then reinterpreted with Shady Records attitude through hand-painted elements, collage, and hidden narrative moments throughout.

Work
Led spatial design and fabrication planning, including layout and build direction across the interior and exterior. Developed the creative direction, visual identity, typography, and installation storytelling that connected Brisk, Shady Records, and fan culture. Created original artwork featured throughout the experience, including murals, typographic compositions, and framed pieces inspired by music and mythology.

Results
Brisk Bodega became one of the brand’s most iconic cultural campaigns—driving packed attendance, viral engagement, and a new benchmark for bodega-inspired experiential design. It proved that when culture leads, brand storytelling lasts.
