Beginning with Blend's original Long Island City restaurant, Artek developed a visual identity that translated the restaurant's Latin-fusion concept into a complete guest experience.
The work extended beyond a traditional restaurant identity. Branding, menus, collateral, signage and large-scale original artwork were designed as parts of one visual language—mixing Latin American cultural references, typography, portraiture, currency, vintage ephemera and layered collage with the energy of New York.
As Blend expanded, the system evolved with it. The original Vernon Boulevard restaurant established the foundation, while subsequent locations created opportunities to reinterpret the identity through new interiors, artwork and site-specific applications. Blend on the Water marked a significant expansion of the concept into a much larger waterfront restaurant overlooking Manhattan.
Across locations, the goal remained consistent: create a recognizable Blend experience without making every space feel identical. Murals, custom artwork, menus, signage and branded details became architectural elements—allowing the identity to live throughout the restaurant rather than only at the front door.
The result is a hospitality brand expressed at multiple scales, from a menu in the guest's hands to artwork spanning an entire wall.
