Greenwich Social

The Greenwich Social was conceived as a New York dining experience built around culture, cuisine and community. Located in Greenwich Village, the space brought seven distinct food concepts together under one roof, each with its own personality while remaining part of a larger TGS world.

CHALLENGE
Create a unified identity for a multi-concept hospitality space without making every experience feel the same. Each station needed to communicate a different cuisine and cultural point of view, while the overall environment still had to feel unmistakably connected to New York and to The Greenwich Social.

APPROACH
We treated TGS as a brand ecosystem rather than a single restaurant identity. A master visual language established the foundation, while seven individual station identities introduced their own typography, illustration, signage and graphic character. New York’s visual history—from storefront lettering and hand-painted signage to street graphics, neighborhood iconography and layered urban surfaces—informed the system without reducing the city to a single aesthetic.

SOLUTION
The identity expanded throughout the entire physical experience: master branding, seven individual food-station identities, menus, signage, environmental graphics, custom illustration, murals, digital applications and merchandise. Rather than simply applying a logo to the space, the visual system became part of the architecture—creating a layered environment where each destination could stand on its own while contributing to one cohesive Greenwich Social experience.

RESULT
The finished space transformed a broad collection of food concepts into a singular branded destination. From the smallest typographic details to large-scale murals and environmental installations, TGS demonstrated how identity, art and interior experience could operate as one connected system.
